We were completely reliant on Checkatrade to discover us a reliable contractor for our repair job. We registered and posted our project details, but unfortunately, we were left high and dry.

Checkatrade's response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It all starts with their sneaky charges, which they hide in the legalese. Then, there's the terrible support that's about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to raise an issue, but it's like pulling teeth.

Right away, the customer service from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and provided a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to talk about the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up having to hire someone else by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's helpline was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling angry and would definitely not recommend Checkatrade for your tradesman needs.
